Description, language typology, and the historical linguistics of the Indo-Pacific region

About me

About Me

I'm a linguist originally from Maryland, USA. My main focuses are historical linguistics, language typology, and the description and documentation of under-studied languages in the Indo-Pacific region.

I graduated in 2023 from the University of Edinburgh with a First-Class MA Honours degree in Linguistics. I've presented the results of my research at the Conference of the Undergraduate Linguistics Association of Britain and the University of Edinburgh Dissertations Conference, and my first published research paper, "Possessive prefixes in Proto-Kusunda," is set to appear in an upcoming issue of Himalayan Linguistics.

This website is mostly for cataloguing and showcasing the results of my projects, including publications, undergraduate papers, conference presentation materials, lexical/etymological databases, and more. If you're interested in any of these, take a look at my Projects page (or just scroll down on this page a little).
